D'Adam has studied and worked both domestically and internationally in the areas of musical performance and arrangement as well as education and psychology. His music draws significantly on his formal training of composition, Brazilian rhythms, as well as flamenco and jazz performance. Most recently, D'Adam studied under Argentine flamenco master Luciano de Paula at the Centro de Arte Flamenco in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Before returning to the United States, D'Adam successfully married his musical - pedagogical - organizational talents by developing and directing an ecological non-profit project in Sao Paulo, Brazil, called In the Half-Light – Estancia Jatoba. The project funded the development of an educational hall/research laboratory for a nature sanctuary in Jaguariuna, Brazil, called Estancia Jatoba. |
